IDragon HD (2017)
Following on from our first collaboration, we worked with IDragon HD again to redesign an all new visual identity for the channel.
Building on the Red & Black simplistic text effect of the last design, this new philosophy was rolled out at the start of 2017 in the biggest design overhaul for the channel since its inception.

This new design focused entirely on the letters being broken down to their simplest form but still being completely legible. The red & black branding was chosen as its a standout "techy" look- & is complemented with a red outline as a container to be used when the logo cannot be seamlessly integrated.

Compact Logo
In a huge change for the channel a dragon graphic was dropped from the core branding to be replaced by a simple IDHD Graphic. Due to this being the outset from the start we were able to design this to be as compact as possible whilst retaining the simplicity of the letters & correct sizing.
Retaining the Dragon
Created in partnership with one of IDragon HD's friends, a new dragon graphic was designed to be used for a legacy perspective. Compared to the prior graphics, this was a more modern, & less fussy design that was intended to be used occasionally as a support image.
Banner
As part of the redesign, a new channel banner was created. It uses a image of a motherboard/ circuit board & had all the traces going to the centre where the logo is present. This design was chosen due to IDragon HD wanting to illustrate their tech focus moving forward.
Real world usage.
The Graphics were rolled out in 2017 across the channel branding & an all new "MKBHD" Inspired title sequence was launched.
The branding was also occasionally used in video thumbnails to help make the channel stand out & help build brand recognition.
