IDragon HD (2016)

As part of a visual update, we were tasked to create a new logo for IDragon HD, A Tech Youtube Channel.

As Part of the brief we were shown a concept google logo (see here) & asked to design a logo that was able to be used as a channel intr

The Results

Light Mode

The New IDragon HD Logo is bassed of a Google Logo concept that only used basic shapes to create the word- which was the philosophy here, however some of the shapes were tweaked (e.g the H) for improved legibility.

Dark Mode

One of the biggest changes with this logo compared to the previous designs it replaced, this logo was designed to work in "dark mode" with the outline inverted for improved legibility. This design was the one that ended up being widely used.

IDHD Logo

Because full text logos don't always work the best we took the ID & HD components & formed the IDHD variation for use in smaller places such as profile pictures & channel watermarks.

IDragon Destruction

Building on the design for the main channel, we created similar branding for the sister channel IDragon Destruction that was used throughout the "Destruction Project 5" Series in 2016

Real world usage.

The logo formed the basis for the channel's introduction between May 2016 & February 2017 when it was replaced with new branding created by Identite which you can see here.

A Light version of the intro was also created however was unused part from the standalone upload.
